Our two-night Christmas escape to the coast includes a wonderful five course tasting menu in The Dining Room on Christmas Eve, the all-important festive lunch with trimmings and breakfast. Explore the grounds or the search for the infamous sea-glass on the Durham heritage coast just, a stone’s throw away from the hotel.

Arriving on Christmas Eve your stay includes:

A five course set Tasting menu on Christmas Eve in The Dining Room between 6.30pm and 8.30pm. On Christmas Day enjoy a glass of pre-lunch Champagne, followed by a four course Christmas lunch served in The Dining Room at 1pm. A charcuterie board to share with a glass of port on Christmas night. Breakfast each morning.

If you wish to experience any of our treatments, we advise to book these as soon as possible, we cannot guarantee availability on arrival. Reservations can be made via our website.

A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your reservation with the balance paid by 1st December 2024. After 1st December the booking is non-refundable and non-transferable.

If a time is not specified for dinner on Christmas Eve, our team will allocate a time for you and send a confirmation. If you wish to amend times please do call as soon as possible. Dietary requirements can be accommodated with at least 48 hours’ notice.

All hotel guests are required to leave a £50 pre-authorisation on a credit card on arrival to open a room account during your stay. This £50 does not leave your account but may show as a pending transaction for up to 10 working days from your arrival.

Please note that the deposit is non-refundable and cancellations after Dec 1st will incur the full charge of the stay.
